Alumni Award Scholarships to PTHS Seniors

Baccalaureate and Senior Awards Program 2010 The Pine Tree High School Baccalaureate/Senior Awards Program was held on Wednesday,  May 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the recently remodeled Pine Tree Road Auditorium.   Ronnie Morrison (Class of 1962), Vice President of Alumni Affairs, Pine Tree Education Foundation and representing the Alumni Scholarship Committee, proudly presented $1,500.00 scholarships each to two deserving seniors:  Hannah Toarmina and Kristi Osborne.   Hannah is the daughter of Noreen and Phil Freeman and the late Ross Toarmina, PT Class of 1978.   She plans to attend Texas A&M, College Station and pursue a BSN, (Nursing) degree.    Kristi is the daughter of Tammy and Robert Osborne.  She plans to attend Texas A&M University, College Station.  Her anticipated course of study is Anthropology.   The Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship was presented by former student Pasche Everett to senior Rachel Griffith, daughter of Patricia and Ronson Griffith.  Rachel also plans to attend Texas A&M University, College Station to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and a Master's Degree in Architecture.   Best wishes to all Pine Tree Seniors from the Pine Tree Education Foundation and the Alumni Community!   Click here if you would like to make a contribution to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.   Or, click here if you would like to make a contribution to the Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship.
