Crowson Memorial Endowment Honoring David Crowson 

The Crowson Memorial Endowment was established in 2007 to honor the memory of David Crowson. David was a founding member of the Pine Tree ISD Education Foundation. He was extremely supportive, offering his services to help get the non-profit organization established and achieve their tax-exempt status. He volunteered countless hours and worked on numerous committees. David was a strong believer in the Pine Tree school district and of the value of an education received through Pine Tree.

Honoring David Crowson - A Resolution Passed by the PTISD School Board

On this date, April 9, 2007, we, the members of the Pine Tree Independent School District Board of Trustees, do hereby pass this resolution honoring David Crowson's service to the Pine Tree Independent School District. David served on the Pine Tree School Board from May 2000, until his death on February 27, 2007.

David also served as the "Voice of Pine Tree” as he announced the varsity football, baseball, and basketball games for over a decade. He was a great supporter of the Pine Tree athletic programs over the years.

David was a founding member of the Pine Tree ISD Education Foundation, helping that organization achieve their tax-exempt status, and get off the ground.

David was a strong believer in the Pine Tree school district and of the value of an education received through Pine Tree. All three of David's children graduated from Pine Tree and have gone on to be very successful in college. David was a supportive parent as well giving his time to help the theater department, drill team, and other endeavors.

David added much wisdom and insight during his time on the School Board and served as President for the last two years. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and service that will inspire and bless others for years to come. We thank Jane Ann and his family for sharing him with us. He will be missed greatly.
