Endowment Investment
The endowment fund may invest in equities, bonds, money market accounts or other investments.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation will oversee the investments of the endowment to accomplish the following objective:
· To protect the endowment funds as a perpetual fund
· Maximize investment income available for grants

There are 25 Board members who are community leaders that ensure the Foundation accomplishes its mission to further the tradition of excellence by promoting and funding innovative learning strategies.
The Need for Endowment
In today's world, excellence in education will not be attained by just striving to meet state standards, national averages or spending available resources. Excellence is an attitude and typically requires more effort, discipline and resources than the majority are willing to spend. Supporters of the Foundation demonstrate this expectation of excellence by providing resources above and beyond amounts made possible by local and state tax revenue. This sacrifice is required for a culture of excellence to exist.
