Memorials and Honorariums Help Support Foundation Programs

Think about remembering a loved one with a “living gift” to the Foundation. Because the family of Regen Stiles directed “in lieu of flowers” donations to the Pine Tree Education Foundation, there is now an endowment established in Regen's memory. Numerous donations from friends and relatives plus a generous contribution from the Stiles family Created a Legacy, The Regen Stiles Endowment. Each year at the Beacon Awards Banquet, one Pine Tree teacher is honored with the Regen Stiles Teaching Excellence Award and receives a cash award from the earnings of this endowment. Regen's memory lives on!

To direct memorial gifts to the Foundation, families should use this language: “In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be designated in _______________'s memory to the Pine Tree Education Foundation, P. O. Box 5878, Longview, Texas 75608.

If you choose to make a donation to the Pine Tree Education Foundation “In Memory” of an individual, the Foundation will send the family a card for each donation received listing the donors name and address for their personal acknowledgements. And, all donors will receive a card from the Foundation acknowledging their donation.

RECOGNIZE A FRIEND, LOVED ONE, OR FORMER TEACHER with a donation to the Pine Tree Education Foundation. Honorariums are a great gift for family and friends on their birthday, anniversary or a particular holiday or event. You may designate the gift to go to a specific foundation program or endowment fund.
